Vision
The Eucalyptus Task Force's vision is to enable key neighbors in the Eucalyptus neighborhood to transform their community through asset-based community development and by providing a place for neighbors to come together.
Driving Values
Asset Based Community Development: We value this approach to community-based development, based on the principles of:
Appreciating and mobilizing individual and community talents, skills and assets (rather than focusing on problems and needs)
Community-driven development rather than development driven by external agencies
Incarnational Presence of the Church: The Gospel embodied in real people, not just theory. God became human; He did not drop a message from the sky. In the same way, we identify with the culture in order to understand, appreciate and communicate.
Collaboration of Churches: Impacting our community will take cooperation rather than competition amongs God's people.
