* All of the rapes reported in 2006 were committed by suspects known to the victims excluding one that was determined to be unfounded.

***The increase in aggravated assault may have been partly due to a change in California Crime Indez reporting practices, but also the number reported in 2005 was the least reported in the last ten years and less than half the yearly average.
****374 involved forced entry. 249 involved no force at all and 45 were attempts only.
